Serving-Elderly

The Lilly & Jose Nettikaden Foundation encourages serving the Elderly that promotes combatting loneliness for elderly people in Kerala and its nearby states. We are convinced that every older person counts. Together with companies and agencies, governments, donors, ambassadors, volunteers and employees we are committed to the same goal: a society in which every older person leads his or her life as he or she wishes.

Many older people experience problems in daily living because of chronic illnesses or health-related disabilities. Those difficulties restrict their ability to perform self-care. Over the years, our foundation has embarked on serious task of helping these old and deprived peoples to meet their needs by providing them with physical, financial, and emotional support.

Our mission is to serve the needy in the community regardless of race, age, gender or religion. Our vision is to be a respected charity serving the needy out of love for them relating to them holistically as individuals.

Serving the elderly is a complex proposition. While science and technology has changed our world dramatically in the past few years, some of life’s lessons do not change from generation to generation. Senior citizens have decades of experience to share with you—unlock their knowledge by helping out a neighbor or family member, volunteering your time at a senior center or getting a job at the local nursing home. It may well be a life-changing decision. The Lilly & Jose Nettikaden Foundation for the Elderly aims to improve quality of older people’s lives in a wide variety of areas.
